These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Clueless Escape Rooms website and your reservations, purchases, visits, and communications with Clueless Escape Rooms. By using the website, making a purchase, or participating in an experience, you agree to these terms.

Reservations

Reservations are subject to availability and are not complete until the required booking information and payment have been accepted and a confirmation has been issued. Guests are responsible for reviewing the room, date, time, participant count, and contact information shown in the confirmation and promptly reporting any error.

Private Games and Group Events

Escape room reservations are generally intended for the booked group. Any private-game terms, minimum or maximum participant requirements, and group-event arrangements shown during booking or confirmed in writing will apply. Team-building and larger-group events may require separate scheduling, deposits, or written terms.

Payments and Gift Cards

Prices, taxes, deposits, and accepted payment methods are displayed during booking or purchase. Payment is due as stated at checkout. Gift cards, if offered, are subject to the terms presented at purchase and may not be redeemed for cash except where required by law. Guests are responsible for safeguarding gift card codes.

Cancellations and Emergency Rescheduling

Reservations, cancellations, refunds, credits, and rescheduling are governed by the policy disclosed during booking and in the reservation confirmation. If an emergency prevents attendance, contact Clueless Escape Rooms as soon as possible. We may consider emergency rescheduling requests case by case, but approval, credit, refund, or availability is not guaranteed.

Arrival Times and Late Arrivals

Guests must arrive at the time stated in the reservation confirmation or other booking instructions. Late arrival may reduce available game time, delay the group, or result in cancellation without a refund when the experience cannot be accommodated.

Age Requirements and Minors

Guests must comply with the age guidance and adult-supervision requirements stated for the selected room or event. A parent, legal guardian, or responsible adult may be required to accompany minors or complete required waivers or permissions. Clueless Escape Rooms may refuse participation when age or supervision requirements are not met.

Participation and Safety Requirements

Guests must follow staff instructions, posted rules, safety briefings, occupancy limits, and restrictions on phones, photography, food, beverages, alcohol, or prohibited items. Do not participate if a medical condition or other limitation makes participation unsafe. Guests should ask questions before the game if they have accessibility or safety concerns.

Clueless Escape Rooms may deny entry or end participation without refund when a guest acts unsafely, appears impaired, threatens or harasses another person, damages property, disrupts operations, or refuses to follow instructions.

Damage to Property

Guests may be responsible for repair or replacement costs resulting from intentional damage, misuse, reckless conduct, or failure to follow staff instructions. Normal interaction with room elements as directed by staff is not considered damage.

Assumption of Risk and Liability

Escape room participation may involve dim lighting, enclosed spaces, physical movement, props, puzzles, and other ordinary risks associated with an interactive entertainment experience. To the extent permitted by law, participants voluntarily assume these ordinary risks. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. Any separate waiver signed for an event also applies.

Website Use

You may use this website only for lawful personal or business-inquiry purposes. You may not interfere with website operation, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, scrape content in a way that burdens the site, impersonate another person, or use the site for fraudulent activity. Website information may change, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.

Intellectual Property

The Clueless Escape Rooms name, logos, website content, room descriptions, graphics, photographs, and other materials are owned by or licensed to Clueless Escape Rooms and may not be copied, distributed, or used without permission except as allowed by law. Game solutions, puzzles, and confidential room details may not be recorded or publicly disclosed.

SMS Terms

If you opt in to text messages, you may receive reservation confirmations, reminders, booking updates, and customer support messages. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

You must be 18 years of age or older to opt in to receive SMS messages from Clueless Escape Rooms.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

SMS consent is not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. See the SMS Messaging Policy and Privacy Policy for additional details.

Third-Party Services and Links

The website may link to booking, payment, map, review, social media, or other third-party services. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices, and Clueless Escape Rooms is not responsible for third-party websites or services.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The revised terms will be posted on this page with a new last-updated date. Continued use of the website or services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be handled in a court of competent jurisdiction as required by applicable law.
